Pineapple Infused Lemonade

July 3

I’m a southern belle who can hand roll fresh lemonade with the best of them. But honestly ain’t nobody got time for that Martha Stewart honor badge. I’m just saying we can get honor badges another day for fresher squeezed lemondae. Today I’m sharing my fake it to you make it pineapple infused lemonade recipe.

First, go to grocery store and buy 4 frozen lemondae drinks, some pineapple juice & the secret real lemons. Yeah, we need real lemons to pull off this trick.

Make the lemondae according to instructions except substitute pineapple juice for 1 cup of water. Then cut up lemons and drop in pitcher or drink dispenser.

That’s the secret and nobody will ever know. Unless you tell them about the secret. It’s better than buying it premade lemondae in the bottle and cheaper.

Shh it’s our secret!

There are so many ways to make the display pretty and inviting. I like to serve mine chilled with vintage glasses. I collect them for occasions when I get to play hostess.

I get the chance to escape to an era when dinner parties were a thing. I get to dress up and entertain friends and family. Even play a game or two. The nostalgia is everything to me and add some liquor and make it a spiked cocktail.

Yes, spiked and you can even freeze it and make frozen drink. I perfer the ice cubes shaped like pineapples and lemons. Then go ahead and play some music on the record player. My niece’s and nephews love that I have a record player. And not to mention I actually have Outkast on vinyl. The best of La face records. Found it at a thrift store for 39 cents.

Let me know if you try it!

Umm, this sounds amazing and so simple! I understand that real tea and lemonade are important to the Southern ways but sometimes you need to take short cuts. Jess at Just Jess

There are no words to describe my love for my Mama There are no words to describe my love for my Mama fully. She was my biggest fan, my greatest supporter, and the one who helped me navigate life through its many ups and downs. She prayed for me, encouraged me, and always believed in me, even when I doubted myself.

I owe her my life's work and every accolade I've achieved. She saw me through undergrad, guided me as I navigated Corporate America—even though she had never experienced it herself—and kept me grounded through it all.

She prayed with me in moments of joy and in times of need. She stood proudly by my side on my wedding day and cried with me through some of the most challenging moments of my life.

My mom saved my life in more ways than I can count. Her love and guidance shaped the person I am today, and her passing has forever changed me.

On November 26, 2024, Esther Gleaton went home to be with her ancestors. I find comfort in knowing she is finally at rest, free from pain, and in eternal peace.

My mother bravely faced a short but aggressive battle with Plasma Cell Leukemia, spending 72 days fighting inpatient at the Northside Hospital Cancer Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. She fought with courage, grace, and incredible strength.

In sickness and health, my father, Orbie Gleaton, was by her side daily. He saw her through the very dark days and celebrated the joyful moments with her.

His love and devotion to my mom never wavered—he never left her side. The love they shared is eternal and serves as a beautiful testament to the bond they built together.

Mama, your love will guide me forever. You are my heart, and I will carry you with me always.

Angela, Orbie, Carla, Carmelia & Amelia we will take care of Daddy. 🤍🕊️ #Multiplemyeloma #cancersucks #plasmacellleukemia
