9 Things We love for Spring from Amazon

March 24

Raise your hand if you finally realized that buying a Amazon Prime membership was the best thing you could do. I keep a running list of things I need, want or have to get in my cart.

I typically wait a couple of days and then just buy all the items at once. I’m amazed at the trendy and seasonal fashion items you can get on Amazon.

Happy Shopping!

  1. This Spring I’m all about comfort and casual dresses with slip on sneakers. | T-Shirt Dress
  2. So this coloring book cracks me up. I mean sit down and let go of some stress with this coloring book. It will definitely add a element of amusement to your self-care routine. | Adult Coloring Book
  3.  A Straw hat is something that I want to try and wear this spring. I like hats on others, but this style seems like it will be forgiving to my larger head. But anyhow straw hats are fun and keep the sun away from your face. | Straw Hat
  4. This a trendy item that I’m so into. Back in the day I had a insta camera during my freshman year of college cira 2002. It was sticky and printed out in little strips. I see a photo wall DIY with this item coming real soon to the blog. | Fujifilm Instax Mini
  5.  I am a plant lover and currently I’m using a plastic spray bottle from the beauty supply store to mist my plants. Why not elevate your style and get a stylish brass mister to match your home decor. | Brass Plant Mister
  6.  I know fur doesn’t seem to scream spring, but these fun pastel colors are very spring like. | Faux Fur Pillows
  7.  I guess you could DIY this plant ladder, but if your like me and need to expand your tools. This ladder seems like it could add an extra element of style to any potted plants or in door garden for spring. | Ladder Plant Stand
  8. I honestly saw a girl with these on at a local coffee shop. And you know I asked her where she got them. She got hers at Nordstorms Rack, but Amazon totally has them as well. | Flamingo Vans
  9. Who doesn’t like trendy sunglasses. I have seen this style all over the web, but you can try the trend for less than $15 bucks. | Metal Crossbar Sunglasses

There are no words to describe my love for my Mama There are no words to describe my love for my Mama fully. She was my biggest fan, my greatest supporter, and the one who helped me navigate life through its many ups and downs. She prayed for me, encouraged me, and always believed in me, even when I doubted myself.

I owe her my life's work and every accolade I've achieved. She saw me through undergrad, guided me as I navigated Corporate America—even though she had never experienced it herself—and kept me grounded through it all.

She prayed with me in moments of joy and in times of need. She stood proudly by my side on my wedding day and cried with me through some of the most challenging moments of my life.

My mom saved my life in more ways than I can count. Her love and guidance shaped the person I am today, and her passing has forever changed me.

On November 26, 2024, Esther Gleaton went home to be with her ancestors. I find comfort in knowing she is finally at rest, free from pain, and in eternal peace.

My mother bravely faced a short but aggressive battle with Plasma Cell Leukemia, spending 72 days fighting inpatient at the Northside Hospital Cancer Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. She fought with courage, grace, and incredible strength.

In sickness and health, my father, Orbie Gleaton, was by her side daily. He saw her through the very dark days and celebrated the joyful moments with her.

His love and devotion to my mom never wavered—he never left her side. The love they shared is eternal and serves as a beautiful testament to the bond they built together.

Mama, your love will guide me forever. You are my heart, and I will carry you with me always.

Angela, Orbie, Carla, Carmelia & Amelia we will take care of Daddy. 🤍🕊️ #Multiplemyeloma #cancersucks #plasmacellleukemia

There will be days in this life when you feel alone, but know that the ancestors are with you. When you go for that job interview remember that you are carrying the ancestors with you. Everyone who has ever cared for and prayed for you goes with you when you are alone. Some of those people will never get to have your experiences or go in those boardrooms, but you carry them with you.
